OnlyWire bookmarklet can now send email

Saturday, July 22nd, 2006

I don’t know exactly when they fixed this, but I’m fairly sure it was within the last 2 weeks. I just tried it now to see what would happen. The only down side is that it uses a ‘mailto:’ link so the onus is on YOU to actually get it sent (which sucks if you use a web-based email client as I do). Furl, however, just asks for the sender email address, lets you edit what gets sent, then sends it FOR you.

Also, they finally acknowledged a problem with the support for Spurl. They have removed it for now.

You are almost there OnlyWire!
Send the email message FOR me, and you will be 100% in my opinion
